Download and install the DataFort Select software agent directly onto your server, laptop or desktop computer. Multiple accounts can be created if needed and a master account can be created for a single point of billing.

Register your account and select your user name, password and unique encryption key that will be used to scramble your data before transmission.

Data selection. Select the folders you wish to backup.

Exclude unnecessary file types permanently from the backup – eg: you may not want to pay to backup individual movie, photo and music files.

Create a schedule for your backups to take place. At that time the service software will ‘wake up’ and search for new and changed data which it then encrypts, compresses and transmits to our Tier IV data centres.

Restore single files, folders, or the data from an entire drive by simply clicking on the restore button and selecting what you want to restore and where you want to place it on your computer.
